Cavity-type pressure transducers are specialized sensors, often piezoelectric, designed to directly measure the pressure inside a mold cavity (like in injection molding) or other enclosed spaces, converting this force into a precise electrical signal (charge/voltage) for process control, quality monitoring, and analyzing material behavior like viscosity or shrinkage in manufacturing. They are installed flush with or slightly recessed into the mold surface to capture melt/fluid pressure directly, providing real-time data for optimization.
