Recommended Leadwires for Leadwire-integrated Strain Gauges
- Where we had previously indicated type for 2-wire system leads with -♦L and 3-wire systems with -♦LT for standard vinyl leadwire-integrated strain gauges regardless of type of lead wire, we changed to a symbology for indicating lead wire types in April of 2017 to accommodate products such as those with lead-free solder (option –F) as part of our efforts to make environmentally friendly CE-compliant products.
- Although there is no information given in the catalog on F/P/PF series leadwire-integrated strain gauges, this is handled as it has been. Combinations are available of all strain gauges and lead wires for strain gauges. Combinations are also available of lead wires for temperature-integrated strain gauges and all foil strain gauges.
