A dial gauge-type displacement transducer is a precise sensor that combines a traditional mechanical dial indicator with an integrated strain gauge, allowing for direct visual reading of linear movement (like inches or mm) via the pointer, while simultaneously outputting a proportional electrical signal for electronic logging or machine control, ideal for long-term, stable measurements in structural monitoring or quality control.
It helps in conducting dual monitoring, i.e., offers both visual and electronic measurement. The TML DDP sensor provides stable, reliable, long-term data for structural relative displacement or absolute displacement from a fixed point.
Specially used in structural monitoring, quality control ("go/no-go" gauging), and material testing and works with standard strain gauge equipment, simplifying data acquisition.
The DDP-A displacement transducer is a dial gauge with a strain sensing element and a bridge circuit integrated. The amount of displacement can be checked by viewing the pointer while the output from the sensing element can be used to control a recorder or a machine.
